Bryant Park NYC

Bryant Park

There are few places full of more modern romance than New York City… and if you want an amazing New York photo shoot without having to fight to crowds every second, one of the best places to go is Bryant Park. Located just a few block away from the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Station, this beautiful spot has been a Manhattan landmark for centuries.

The square of land that makes up Bryant Park was originally designated as public space in 1686. In the 1830s it was turned into Reservoir Park. It became an iconic part of New York history in 1853 when it hosted the Crystal Palace Exhibition, a display of art, machinery, and architectural marvels that turned New York City into one of the great tourist destinations of the world. The modern Bryant Park was designed in 1934 with the aim of creating a classical, beautiful, romantic space in the middle of downtown New York.

That beauty and romance is still there today. Bryant Park is an oasis in the middle of busy city life. Rich beds of seasonal flowers are everywhere you look, while a beautiful green lawn stretches between the promenade paths. There is the stunning Fountain Terrace, the perfect spot for creating your own bit of New York magic with a sweeping, dramatic kiss, cheered on by romance-loving passers-by. And if you’re feeling a little bit playful, we can stop by Le Carrousel, a classical French merry-go-round that gives everyone a giddy smile.

With it’s formal European beauty set off by New York-style fun, Bryant Park is the perfect place to spend a romantic afternoon with the person you love most. We can’t wait to meet you there!
